In my little corner of the world…

My hubby and I just got back from a walk through the local wooded off leash dog park.  I almost don’t want to mention how warm and beautiful it is here knowing that our fellow Canadians on the eastern side of the country aren’t enjoying the same weather.  It’s a balmy 12.5 degrees C here and last I heard it was minus 17 degrees C in Toronto.

Amish Block Party goes on a photoshoot!

We sure live in a beautiful part of the world.  A week ago today was Family Day in British Columbia, and we had an appointment with a dog trainer.  About 5 minutes from our home is a beautiful park with trails amongst mature forest.  It’s an off leash dog area and our trainer thought it would be a good place for training.

Pattern launch!

Good Sunday morning!

The big move!

This blog has been my forgotten child!  This is evidenced by my last post date of March.  Wow.  How did that happen?

We’ve had our house for sale for the last year.  Anyone who has ever gone through the process of living in staged house with multiple showing requests will understand why there has been little sewing or blogging nano sim schablone downloaden.

Back at the machine!!

I’m now over a month post-op and very happy to have been able to resume piecing at my sewing machine. 

I feel like I’ve got quilter’s ADD as I’ve got quite a few things started or underway or resumed.

2015 adventures

This is my first post for 2015 which, when I looked at my last posting date, kinda surprised me. But there is a good reason. My focus for the remainder of December and the beginning of January has been to manoeuvre around all the colds and sickness around me with the goal to staying healthy for hip surgery on January 19th instagram highlights.
